The opening of Marta Łubińska’s painting exhibition, ‘Silence Has Colours’, will take place on 28 July (Tuesday) at 6.00 pm at the ‘Śródmieście’ Community Centre in Białystok (13 Kilińskiego Street, 2nd floor).
The exhibition will be open until 18 August, Monday to Friday from 8:00-16:00. Free entrance!
The painting exhibition ‘Silence Has Colours’ is a unique invitation to create your own safe haven. It is a space designed to allow visitors to find a moment of tranquillity amidst the art.
The works on display are inspired by nature in its most fleeting and subtle manifestations – diffused light, mysterious mist, the unpredictable depth of water and the soothing murmur of the forest. Marta Łubińska handles colour, light and unique texture with extraordinary sensitivity – that which is unnameable and invisible to the eye takes on a physical form on the canvas. The interplay of colours and the texture of the paintings affect the viewer, inducing a state of harmony and reflection.
Marta Łubińska – a painter originally from Masuria, who has been based in Białystok for over a dozen years. Although she has always painted, it is only in recent years that art has become her conscious creative path.
She draws her inspiration primarily from nature – its ever-changing nature, light and space. She creates mainly acrylic paintings in which the landscape serves as a pretext for exploring emotions. Her work is characterised by subtle colour transitions, rich textures and an atmosphere of tranquillity and contemplation. Her works have been featured in group and solo exhibitions, and her solo exhibition ‘Silence Has Colours’ marks another important stage in her artistic journey – a story about finding beauty in the silence and simplicity of nature.
