You are invited to a concert by the Early Music Ensemble “Ars Decorum”!
During the concert, the ensemble will present Polish, Spanish, English and Italian works by composers such as Cyprian Bazylik, Wacław of Szamotuły, Ginés de Morata, John Dowland, Richard Nicholson and John Playford.
The concert will take place on June 22 (Saturday) at 3 p.m. at the ‘Srodmiescie’ Community Center in Bialystok (exhibition hall, 2nd floor).

The Ars Decorum Early Music Ensemble, operating at the ‘Srodmiescie’ Community Center in Bialystok, was established in April 2015 on the initiative of its instructor, Joanna Mytnik-Daniluk. This is a youth vocal and instrumental ensemble specialising in the performance of works from the Renaissance and early Baroque periods.
The ensemble’s instrumentation includes, among others, simple flutes, cornamuse, guitar-guitar, Irish and lyric harp and percussion. The musicians perform in stylized costumes based on old clothing.
In June 2016, the band took part in the Children and Youth Music Festival “Debuts” in Łapy, winning the first place in the category of bands – Diamond Debut. Aeolus Bronze Harp. In August 2017, the ensemble performed during the Jarosławski Fair. Since 2017, the Ensemble has participated in the cyclical “Baroque Gardens of Art” Festival in Białystok. In subsequent editions of the National Festival of Early Music Ensembles “Schola Cantorum” in 2018 and 2020, the Ensemble won Distinctions, and in 2021 the Bronze Eola Harp. At the International Festival of Early Music Ensembles “Schola Cantorum” in Kalisz in 2022, the Ensemble received the Eola Golden Harp in the category of vocal and instrumental ensembles and the Kalisz Starost Award.
