Exhibition “Flows. Timelessness. The Sound of Silence. The Path.” by the Mistral Artistic Group

We cordially invite you to the exhibition “Flows. Timelessness. The Sound of Silence. The Path.” by the Mistral Artistic Group!

Artists often drew from personal experiences, explored their identity and the beauty of the surrounding nature. There was also no shortage of interpretations of themes that were a continuation of formal and semantic explorations begun in previous years. Among the completed works, one can see a variety of forms of expression, from textural painting, through frames taken from family memories, to original interpretations of works by famous masters. A special place in the work is occupied by inspiration from the nature of Podlasie and the innovative use of objects from everyday surroundings, transferred to the world of art.

Often, the interpretations of themes are a continuation of the searches started in previous years, both in the formal and semantic sphere. There is textural gesture painting, frames from a family diary, interpretations of paintings by famous painters, the nature of Podlasie and the use of objects from one’s own surroundings and transferring them to the world of art. The realizations were made in oil and acrylic techniques on canvas. – says the group’s instructor, Marta Pokojowczyk.
