You are invited to the photography exhibition ‘In the realm of fairytales’ of the Bialystok Photographic Society!
The exhibition shows how different we are and how differently we perceive the world. It is an extraordinary opportunity to experience photography inspired by literature and to immerse yourself in the fantastic stories captured in the photographs. The exhibition transports the viewer to a world where time slows down and the magic of everyday life comes alive in frames full of mystery and beauty. In the photographs, we will see enchanted castles, mysterious forests, fairy tale characters brought to life by light and shadow, permeated by an atmosphere of dreams and nostalgia. It is a journey to the land of children’s imagination, where the world is full of extraordinary stories waiting to be discovered, and good always wins.
The Bialystok Photographic Society (BTF) is one of the oldest photographic organisations in Poland, dating back to 1953. The current members are proud to continue the work of Piotr Sawicki, Henryk Rogozinski, Wiktor Wolkow and many others. Since its inception, the Society has brought together enthusiasts – both professionals and amateurs – inspiring their artistic development and popularising photography as an art form. Diversity is the organisation’s greatest asset.
– It does not matter to us whether someone is a professional or an amateur and at what stage of development the person is. What is important is passion. The Bialystok Photographic Society holds regular meetings where we have the opportunity to share experiences, discuss the latest trends in photography and present our work. We cooperate with cultural institutions, museums and art galleries, engaging in educational and cultural projects – BTF CEO Bożena Zdanowicz says.

The opening of the exhibition ‘In the realm of fairytales’ by the Photographic Society of Bialystok will take place on March 11 (Tuesday) at 18:00 at the “Śródmieście” Community Center in Białystok (13 Jan Kiliński street, second floor). The exhibition can be viewed from Tuesday to Friday at 10:00-17:00, free entrance.
The exhibition will be open until March 27, 2025.
