Nature, connections and great music! We’ve got an open-air concert by the Dolistówka River coming up.
Join us on Saturday 10 October at 2.00 pm at the leisure and sports complex on Sybiraków Street. Bring your family, friends, blankets, a sense of fun and a touch of curiosity.
On this day, there will be the premiere of an ambient track, created from the sounds of nature recorded by participants in the ‘Sounds of Dolistówka’ educational walks.
As well as musical attractions, the event also has an educational dimension. Members of the Białystok Branch of the Polish Society for the Protection of Birds will talk about Dolistówka’s natural heritage.
On the day, the following organisations will also be present with educational stands:
– The Department of Municipal Services and Environmental Protection of Białystok City Council, ‘Zielony Białystok’: they will organise quizzes about our city’s natural environment. Small gifts await participants.
– Energy Advisers working with the Provincial Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management in Białystok: they will present renewable energy sources and provide information on adapting to climate change. Children and young people will test their knowledge in quizzes and play a game on the topic of combating air pollution, whilst adults will learn about ways to improve the energy efficiency of buildings.
– The Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Białystok: environmental education in the form of exciting, fun activities, packed with challenges, puzzles and engaging games.
The event was organised by residents of the Skorupy housing estate, led by Alicja Grabowska.
