Performance “If I Were a Rich Man” by Lumbago Cabaret

We cordially invite you to the performance “If I Were Rich…” by Lumbago Cabaret (dir. Adam Zieleniecki), which will take place on April 26 at 6:00 p.m. at the “Śródmieście” Cultural Center in Białystok.

This is a story about the lives of people in pre-war Białystok – a city where different cultures and nationalities met. The play focuses on the everyday life of the residents and their ability to coexist despite differences. The titular “wealth” does not mean wealth, but a wealth of knowledge, experience and mutual understanding. The play shows in a humorous way how Poles, Jews, Germans and Tatars lived in harmony, respecting their traditions and creating a community full of kindness. Viewers will have the opportunity to see how the residents of Białystok celebrated and cooperated together. The message of the play is simple, but timeless – despite differences, you can live in friendship.

The performance will take place on April 26 at 6:00 PM at the Śródmieście Cultural Center in Białystok. Free tickets are required – available for collection (from April 14) at the office of the Śródmieście Cultural Center at 13 Jana Kilińskiego Street, 2nd floor.
