What happens when a child’s imagination meets professional painting skills? You’ll find the answer at the exhibition at Cukiernia Sowa!
The exhibition comprises a collection of 10 unique works that captivate with their format and structure. Five monumental B1-sized canvases and five smaller ones (measuring 50×70 cm, 55×75 cm and 60×80 cm) come together to form a cohesive, vibrant narrative about the wild. The artists are children aged between 7 and 13. The works were created over several weeks under the watchful eye of instructors Magdalena Pietraszko and Natalia Yefymchuk. The young artists boldly pushed the boundaries of traditional colour fields. Using acrylic paints, textured media and shimmering gilding, they created multi-dimensional textures that almost ‘leap’ out of the frames towards the viewer.
