Results of the DK+ competition

The results of the competition for grassroots initiatives by residents of Białystok, as part of the ‘Białystok City Centre Initiatives’ project, have been announced.

Eight applications were submitted for the competition. The selection panel faced an extremely difficult choice. Particular attention was paid to the substantive value of the proposed initiatives. The response to the recommendations set out in the assessment of the cultural potential of Białystok’s residents was also a key factor. Committee members focused on the cultural potential and long-term impact of the initiatives within the local community. The timetables, cost estimates and the rationality of expenditure were also subject to detailed assessment. Cultural or cultural-social initiatives carried out with the participation of as large a group of residents as possible.

Four projects that received the highest scores were awarded funding.

We would like to thank all the applicants very much and congratulate the beneficiaries. We can’t wait to see these initiatives come to fruition!
Below we publish the minutes of the selection panel’s meeting, together with a list of the applications that were approved.
