The ‘Srodmiescie’ Community Center in Bialystok invites you to participate in the Municipal Art Competition for children and teenagers ‘Art and my World’.
The aim of the Competition is to develop children’s and young teenagers’ sense of aesthetics and sensitivity and to deepen artistic creativity related to observation of the surrounding world.
The format of the work should be: no smaller than A4 and no larger than A3.
1 Prizes and awards will be given in four categories:
- I Category: Participant’s age 7-9 years,
- II Category: Participant’s age 10-12 years,
- III Category: Participant’s age 13-15 years,
- IV Category: children and teenagers with disabilities up to 15 years.
2. In each category, the jury will select:
- the best work (laureate);
- awarded works – 3;
- works selected for the post-competition exhibition.
3. The authors of the best works (‘laureates’) will receive diplomas and cash prizes of PLN 400, the runners-up will receive diplomas and prizes in kind to the value of PLN 100, and the authors of works qualified for the exhibition will receive diplomas.
4. The date of the opening of the post-competition exhibition, together with the official awarding of diplomas and prizes to the Competition Participants will be announced on the Organiser’s website (https://dksrodmiescie.pl).
5. The deadline for the delivery of works and entries is March 28, 2025, with the date on which the works are received by the Organiser being decisive in this respect.
6. Artwork should be delivered in person or sent by traditional post to:
