Fortunately, there is someone in the house who is not fooled by appearances – the clever and observant maid Justysia. She is the first to notice that something is wrong with the gentlemen… and raises the alarm. Suspicion quickly turns into an investigation, and the women join forces to discover what (and who!) is behind their husbands’ sudden transformation.
Fredro shows not only the comical side of love and marriage, but also the timeless mechanisms of social influence, manipulation and the power of female solidarity. Because when women decide to take matters into their own hands, nothing will ever be the same again.
The performance will take place on 20 September at 6 p.m. at the Śródmieście Cultural Centre in Białystok (ul. Kilińskiego 13, 3rd floor). Free admission tickets are required (available at the office from 12 September at 9:30 a.m.).
