Art Studio carries out tasks in the field of art education for children and youth.

Education for children from 7 to 10 years old lasts 6 years, for people from 11 years old – 4 years. Students are admitted on the basis of a submitted declaration – application. The Art Studio teaches drawing, painting, graphics and sculpture.

Students participate in art competitions, visit galleries, museums, exhibitions, meet with artists. Students’ works are presented at exhibitions organized by the Art Studio.

Work program of the Art Studio

  • Sensitizing children and young people to the broadly understood BEAUTY and bringing them closer to many areas of fine arts through practical and theoretical classes.

  • Activities in space (installations, happening, “land art”, industrial design, artistic craftsmanship, set design)

Familiarization with various types of artistic expression techniques, e.g.:

  • Acrylic painting, gouache, watercolor, decalcomania, action painting, graffiti, stained glass, etc.
  • Drawing techniques due to the tool: pencil, charcoal, ink, brush, stick, frottage, etc.
  • Full sculptures, bas-relief – relief, sculpting techniques due to the material: wood, stone, metal, plaster, clay, wax and others.
  • Workshop graphics (flat printing, intaglio printing, relief printing), computer graphics
  • Other techniques of artistic activities: “land art”, happening, rady-made, etc.

Raising awareness of the importance of visual arts in the modern world:

  • Advertising: poster, leaflet, business card
  • Interior design
  • Fashion
  • Industrial design: furniture, cars
  • Environment design: gardens, parks
  • An approximation of artistic life
  • Participation in competitions
  • Going to exhibitions in galleries and museums
  • Meetings with artists
