An unusual trio – virtuosos of klezmer music

Di Galitzyaner Klezmorim is a Krakow-based band that refers in its work to the tradition of klezmer music, in which poetic, melancholic melodies intertwine with fervent, ecstatic spontaneity. The band consists of three musicians: Grzegorz Śpiewak – accordion, Mariola Śpiewak – clarinet, Rafał Seweryniak – double bass. Their virtuosity, attention to sound and details, combined with great musical sensitivity, give the works an aesthetically sublime character. In addition to pieces based on original klezmer melodies, Di Galitzyaner Klezmorim’s repertoire includes more and more own compositions. The band has already released three albums: “Beyond the horizon” (2012), “Nokh Amol” (2004) and “Di Galitzyaner Klezmorim” (2004).
